B-towns’ popular director Tarun Mansukhani will be directing the sequel to Dostana soon, however before that Tarun has been busy assisting good friend, Shahrukh Khan who asked the director to direct a few scenes for his home production, Ra.One.While the script of Dostana 2 is taking a while to be approved by producer Karan Johar, SRK has suggested Tarun to write a fresh script, keeping in mind Priyanka Chopra and the superstar himself, and we won’t ask why Piggy Chops has been chosen to be his leading lady.
Reliable sources tell us more, ‘For now, there's a complete stalemate over the Dostana sequel. Tarun has finished writing the sequel but producer Karan Johar is not happy with the second half. After many rewrites, Mansukhani has now given up. Anyway he is committed to do a film with Karan's production house, the PC-SRK film might just be the thing.’

Shahrukh is like a brother to me, says Ganguly
Kolkata: Rubbishing rumours of cold war with Bollywood superstar and owner of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Shah Rukh Khan, former KKR skipper Sourav Ganguly on Saturday said that Shah Rukh is like his elder brother and will remain so.
"I don't know from where these false stories of clash between me and Shah Rukh have come up. There is no such thing. It is totally wrong. Shah Rukh is a good friend of mine and I know him for a long time. KKR is a sensitive and emotional team for me. I want it to win," said Ganguly.

Katrina Kaif will be playing a role opposite SRK for the very first time, and Anushka Sharma, who was launched in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, alongside Shahrukh.
Orchestrated by Yash Chopra, this untitled movie will mark the coming together yet again of the award winning duo of the music maestro A. R. Rahman and the poet & lyricist, Gulzar.

IIFA Awards: Shahrukh Khan's charm floors audience
Despite a knee injury giving him trouble, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan made sure the lack of top stars did not dim the dazzle at the IIFA night here, charming the audience with his presence and witty one-liners. Shahrukh, who was seen walking with a slight limp ever since he landed here for the IIFA weekend, was greeted by hysterical fans wherever he went.
Despite the awards ceremony starting nearly two hours late, audiences lapped up Shahrukh Khan, described in the local media as a Brad Pitt calibre star, the minute he was on stage with hosts Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh.

Shahrukh Khan to have his keen surgery performed in Mumbai
Shahrukh Khan will undergo a knee surgery in Mumbai in the last week of July. Earlier SRK had planned to have the surgery performed in the US.Dr Ali Irani who had performed the surgery on Shah Rukh's shoulder will lead the team of doctors who will make a final determination on the operation and the corrective action to take on his knee. As had been earlier reported some of the muscle tendons and ligaments in Shahrukh's knee are beyond repair.

About Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan born 2 November 1965, is an Indian film actor and a prominent Bollywood figure, as well as a film producer and television host. Khan began his career appearing in several television serials in the late 1980s. He made his film debut in Deewana (1992). Since then, he has been part of numerous commercially successful films and has earned critical acclaim for many of his performances. Khan has won fourteen Filmfare Awards for his work in Indian films, eight of which are in the Best Actor category (a record).
